Twin Rivers Montessori Academy is the sister campus to Tuskawilla Montessori Academy, also in Oviedo, Florida. Students from our Twin Rivers campus can transfer to our Lower Elementary program at the Main Campus upon completion of the Kindergarten year.
Mirrored after the main campus, the Twin Rivers campus offers schooling for children ages 3 through Kindergarten. The Main Campus offers services through the Eighth Grade year.

Twin Rivers Montessori was opened in 1990 in the heart of the up-and-coming city, Oviedo, Florida. The vision for our Twin Rivers campus is derived from the foundation of our Main Campus facility, Tuskawilla Montessori Academy. At our Twin Rivers campus, we provide an accredited, challenging, and comprehensive Montessori curriculum for students ages 3 years old through the Kindergarten year. Upon completing our program, our students continue to our Main Campus, where we provide a Montessori education for students through the Eighth Grade.
The Faculty and Staff at Twin Rivers Montessori Academy are professionally trained educators through various Montessori training programs. They have a passion for education and inspiring the love of learning in each child that enters our campus.
Dr. Maria Montessori believed that no human being is educated by another person.The children must do it themselves or it will never be done. Truly educated individuals continue learning long after the hours and years they spend in the classroom because they are motivated from within by a natural curiosity and love for knowledge. Dr. Montessori felt, therefore, that the goal of early childhood education should not be to fill the child with facts from a preselected course of studies, but rather to cultivate their own natural desire to learn.
Twin Rivers Montessori Academy was recognized as one of the top two programs in Seminole County for preparing students for Kindergarten, as reported by the Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program.
Students from Twin Rivers Montessori Academy, along with students from our sister school, Tuskawilla Montessori Academy, recently completed their standardized testing, scoring in the TOP 15th Percentile in the United States.
